Dit werd in een groep van vertalers gepost en ik vind het nogal hilarisch, vooral ook omdat ik me er in het Engels ook behoorlijk vaak aan schuldig maak om dingen “thingy” te noemen.
Vertalers zouden vertalers niet zijn als ze niet meteen gingen nadenken hoe dit mini-gereedschap echt heet. Collega Coen Mulder (aka Midnight Oil) wist het antwoord: simcard ejector, sim tray ejector of sim tray pushpin. Hulde!
