Als je contact hebt met b.v. een klant dan noem je dat in het Nederlands een “contactmoment”. Een handig woord, want dat contact kan via e-mail, telefoon, persoonlijk contact of nog een ander medium zijn geweest. “Contactmoment” laat in het midden hóe het contact tot stand is gekomen.
*Contact moment* klinkt raar in het Engels en zal ook niet juist begrepen worden. In plaats daarvan is de correcte vertaling naar het Engels van “contactmoment” “touch point“. Dit is in het Engels wat meer jargon, maar het wordt binnen bedrijven absoluut gebruikt.
